I met the pastor in Baltimore, MD, when he came to help pastor Martin S.
He said that there are many spanish speaking people within the church.
I love my best friend, Jesus Christ, He brings me Joy when I am down(Mi mejor amigo es Jesuchristo, quien me brinda alegria cuando estoy triste). He always forgives my faults and I always try to forgive other people, christians and non christians(Jesuchristo siempre me perdona todas mis ofensas; yo trato de perdonar a otras personas en las misma forma, sean o no sean christianos).
My job in the hospital brings me joy because I can translate and share the word of God (My trabajo en el hospital me llena de alegria, porque puedo traducir y compartir la palabra de my mejor amigo).
May the Lord bring joy, wisdom, hubleness, peace, and love.
(Espero que el Dios les mande alegria, sabiduria, humildad, paz y amor).

Dear Friends,
What a blessing it is to have this site, as a witness to what God is doing with that little band of believers in Charlotte (NC) called Abundant Life. This was a relatively short week on the road for me. Since Monday, I was able to work in 2,175 miles around two church meetings, a premarital counseling session and our Tuesday Night edition of “Life Together.”

What I keep noticing as I travel are the little crosses, sometimes surrounded by flowers, put up alongside the road where, evidently, somebody’s loved one has died in a traffic accident. I must have seen at least 10 of them this week alone.

First I feel sorrow for the loss of someone’s mother, father, brother, sister, child or friend. But I also am struck by how many of the survivors find comfort in the sign of the Cross. They believe that their loved ones died in the hope of the resurrection promised by Jesus. And, for that matter, they are giving a witness to their own hope and trust in what Jesus has done for them on the Cross. They take Jesus at His word when He said, “I am the way, and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” How about you? Which WAY are you headed?
